HI, as mentioned the intell I have is that CN is earmarked for end November. However, in one of the undates I read, I spotted that someone (think it was Victor) is working on Monero. I don't know about the variants which would be of extreme interests to other miners as they may be far more profitable to mine than other algos.
In terms of Prohashing, they generally mine the most profitable and pay out in the coins where there is an automated API for buying.
Do you know which exchanges these are? If they are already listed on the exchanges which Prohashing uses for trading, they would be the easiest to implement.
FYI, In terms of my current mining, I check MiningPoolStats, Fairhash, easyhashpro and what to mine as well as a couple of others to check on new coins coming out.

Alim,
Thanks for the info.
I invested in the X3's so I'm hoping they do the original CN algo for the reasons that among the coins listed, there has been action lately with ETN, and should it get to mass adoption and become an internet shop standard currency (with their implementation of instant payment/shipment of an order like a fiat), demand will increase. Meantime, there's neck-and-neck profitability on DERO, ETN, KRB, and SUMO. With 10 other coins possible, that all could change if any of them start moving, such as Monero Classic, which is actually the original Monero.
Other arguments aside about GPUs, following good business means the money and performance is where the hashpower is. My hope is CN is first. They can always branch out in a couple others later. The ones I found myself mining most often were CNv7 and CNheavy far as profitability when I had GPUs. Problem with them is they suck too much power for the amount they hash.

We should be able to mine all of the CryptoNight variants because they all use the same protocol. We'll start out with Monero, because it has the most hashrate, and then we'll enable the other algorithms as soon as possible thereafter.

REQUEST FOR UPDATE...
Dear Steve & Chris,
November was the month for CN. I know you'd planned on starting with Monero and that's done. We are now post-Thanksgiving, which means November is almost over. Is the original CN algo coming soon? Can you give us a date? I'd like to be on as soon as it goes live with some ASICs I have. Thanks!
Paul

Hi there, elsewhere Chris has said that this is good to go. They are just waiting for the last upgrades to go through as well as finding the right exchanges which have an autotrading api. I'm going to assume that it will be at least a week before going live.
I think there are many CN ASIC miners of all sizes which may want to move across to Prohashing.

Looking for an update to the addition of the original CN algo on Prohashing (PH). It's been 6 months. Any news? I'd like to turn my X3's loose on PH.
Cheers!

Last I read adding of new algos was on hold and they were just working on adding more exchanges and coins to the ones they already had up.
Maybe I read they might look into new algos in another 3 months time or so, cant remember the timetable Steve talked about when they might look into adding more algos instead of coins to mine, coins for payouts, and exchanges to add higher value to the coins already on the system.
