Could you describe to me what the error message you receive is when you try to submit a support ticket? you have to register them like a new user.
however, if not already taken, you can use the same name as you use at the mining site, and indeed it probably makes sense to use the same name to avoid potential future support confusion.
of course use a different password, ALWAYS use different passwords for EVERY website you register with.
