Allcoin now offline
In some good news today, it looks like Chris was able to take scam exchange Allcoin offline. As you may recall, Allcoin stole some of our customers' money back in August and we were not able to repay customers because they were the only exchange where we could buy that coin. That should stop additional people from falling victim to Allcoin's scams.
Allcoin.com now returns a "connection reset" error. Chris reported Allcoin to the state of California after determining that their owner was fraudulently claiming that Allcoin was registered as a California corporation, even there were no corporate records in California. Chris also determined that Allcoin's whois record was fraudulent because the listed address did not match up with their claimed office location, and he reported that to GoDaddy.
Chris is continuing to investigate and is close to being able to post the real name of Allcoin's founder. We apologize for the losses customers incurred from Allcoin and will continue to keep everyone updated as we work towards their arrest and the recovery of stolen funds for those customers who lost money. Feel free to post a reply if you have any questions.

If I could find the like button, I'd click it.

There is one, now. It's at the top of the thread. Chris added it on Wednesday.kires wrote:If I could find the like button, I'd click it.
Use the "G+1" button if you can. It affects Google search results more than any other button and getting the word out about this scam isn't a bad thing.
Re: Allcoin now offline
Well in that case I'm either blind or brainless today, because I'm not seeing anything that looks like either a like or a +1.

The buttons are right below the linked text "Allcoin now offline" at the top of the thread.

Sorry Steve, I'm just not seeing them. All I see there is Post Reply, topic tools, and the search widget. I'm on Chrome 45, in case that's relevant.

Hmmm. Maybe there's some sort of authorization issue? I'll talk to Chris when he gets up, as he is the person who added them. I wonder if he mistakenly only granted permission to use them to certain people.
