New features in upcoming release

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Wed Aug 26, 2015 6:15 pm

I'll be off on Friday and Monday, and will be finalizing many new features that have been in development. This post is now the final list of what will be released.
  • Added NXT payouts and enabled trading in NXT markets.
  • Added "worker history" chart with 8 tracked statistics.
  • Added "earnings history" chart that tracks payouts per day.
  • Added Ethereum payouts.
  • At kires's suggestion, added "name" attributes to form fields so that LastPass remembers their input.
  • At tuscondirect's suggestion, newly registered users are now redirected to "settings." Old users who just logged in are redirected to "earnings."
  • The weekly database cleanup script now halts when the database starts to get behind, so that users don't have to wait to see updated earnings information.
  • The daily USD and BTC earnings will now compute the exact number that the average miner would have made if he stayed with the pool the entire day. The current statistics are estimates that were a compromise due to performance concerns, and they were affected by changing BTC prices and hashrate.
  • Added Monero payouts.
  • Changed the coin assignment algorithm to consider actual block times, which replaces the previous estimated block time based upon the intended time minus how our hashrate affects the network. The end result should be that fewer miners should be assigned to the least difficult coins.
