Allcoin coins frozen
Unfortunately, exchange Allcoin froze our account for an unknown reason, without prior warning. This may have caused significant losses because money was sent to them for many hours without anyone being aware of the problem. It will take time to determine how much was lost.
More pressing to customers is that there are many coins that are only traded at Allcoin, and those can't be paid out until we can withdraw them. Chris submitted a support ticket to them requesting an explanation, but we haven't yet received a response. Users with balances in coins that are only traded in Allcoin will experience delays until they reply.
We'll keep everyone updated on the status of this issue, and we apologize for the inconvenience. If you only request payouts in coins traded at at least one other exchange, then you aren't affected.

Re: Allcoin coins frozen
I was just wondering, if there was any way you can make a list of the coins that are "only traded" on that site, so we won't continue mining those?
That would be helpful indeed. Thanks.

Re: Allcoin coins frozen
The coins are already payout-disabled, so if you have payouts requested in any of those coins, your payouts are being redirected to another coin that can be paid out. You don't have to worry about losing money.
Thanks for pointing this question out. I will have Chris get a list posted here within a few hours.

Re: Allcoin coins frozen
There are only four coins that are exclusive to Allcoin:
Compucoin
Confessioncoin
Denarius
Nutcoin
As Steve said, they are already mining and payout disabled here, so you can't accidentally mine them.

Re: Allcoin coins frozen
I want to apologize for this, but we're going to hold off on dealing with this until Chris returns next week. The reason is that we spent a lot of political capital on reddit exposing /u/theymos's hidden censorship, and people are starting to finally take action over it.
If we try to make a big deal about Allcoin now, it will just look like we're causing trouble to some people. This issue with /r/bitcoin censorship is much more important than a few lost bitcoins to Allcoin anyway.
