Don't you have to have a active account on the iphone for it to even work? You cant download any apps unless the phone is registered I believe.

We don't plan on activating the phone. It can't be used without a SIM card? Every other phone can. I gave my mom an S6 without a SIM card and she uses it for VR with no problems.
