USD Payouts

Post by CommissarCain » Thu Jul 16, 2015 8:46 pm

I apologize if this has been posted elsewhere, I couldn't seem to find an answer. I've specified USD payouts through Coinbase and have connected my account, however every time I log out of Prohashing and log back in again I have to reconnect to Coinbase through the settings menu (it defaults back to 100% bitcoin). When I check Coinbase, the Prohashing app is still authorized.

Just curious if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong...

Thanks!

Hi Cain,

What you're experiencing is a display issue that shows up every now and then on the settings page. The settings page takes a few seconds to actually pull the data it uses to populate the various fields. Kind of like how the earnings page will show you 'No recent mining' for a second or two before displaying the graph.
On the settings page, though, sometimes the data for your coinbase link doesn't make it in time to be displayed. You can see the real data by refreshing the page after like 5-10 seconds; at least that's what works for me. But the bottom line is that your CB connection is still intact and functional, even though the settings page can sometimes fail to acknowledge it.

Thank you for the reply, that makes sense it's kinda what I was figuring. Good to know!

This is one of those random issues that is caused by the slow database. It should rarely if ever occur after we switch to SSDs next week.

Chris, please enter this issue as a bug into the Mantis system.

I'm going to look at this on Saturday, now that we have someone who has reproduced it other than kires, to see if it's something I can fix.
