Free money for yesterday's network connectivity issues

We're pleased to announce that we've decided to give free money to customers who were inconvenienced by yesterday's network connectivity issues. This money will be awarded in addition to the share corrections that Chris has already issued, causing us to pay out much more than was actually mined yesterday.

Customers will see their balances increased by 10% of the amount earned on March 1, for a total bonus of over $10,000. The changes will appear through an increase in today's balances, and a message will be displayed in orange text for the next 3 days to notify customers how much of a bonus they received.

Thanks for your continued support, and we look forward to improving network connectivity as soon as the new enterprise Internet line is installed in a few weeks! Enjoy the bonus!

Mar 2, 2018 3:57:43 PM - Congratulations! In appreciation of your time mining with us, we have provided you with a bonus! - You have been given an extra $40.73, which is equal to 10% of your March 1 earnings. The following has been added to your March 2 earnings: 0.1933 LTC."

$40.73 ( 0.1933 LTC) is not 10% of what I earned yesterday - it is the exact total amount I earned yesterday (which was significantly less than what I earn in LTC per day here). There has been no extra 0.1933 LTC credited to my earnings today.

Currently 5 Antminer L3+ here have earnings of 0.18760486 LTC, while at litecoinpool today's earnings for 5 Antminer L3+ is 0.1806652700447744 LTC - a difference of ~0.007 LTC more here (~$1.45 more here). litecoinpool has been paying out about 0.02 - 0.03 more LTC/day than here, so it's nice to get a bit of a bump in earnings here vs litecoinpool for today's earnings.

However, I average 0.23 to 0.24 LTC here/day, so yesterday I lost ~0.04 LTC (0.23 LTC - 0.1933 LTC) in earnings from lost shares, plus you say there is a 10% bonus? Has it yet to be credited, because it should be around 0.02 LTC extra (10% of 0.1933 for yesterday's earnings) just for a 10% bonus, let alone credited for yesterday's lost shares. Call me confused lol.

PH should lower their fees or give bonus to their lojal miners so we earn atleast what we do on litecoinpool.org

Update: after getting yesterdays' earnings (both here and at litecoinpool), the 10% bonus is actually quite less when compared with the earnings I made from litecoinpool.

Actual bonus for 03/02/2018 when compared to litecoinpool earnings for yesterday: 3.88% - $1.61 - 0.0075 LTC

I have one more day of doing a comparison earnings between here and at litecoinpool with 5 Antminer L3+ here and 5 Antminer L3+ at litecoinpool. Earnings for the past 5 days:
02/26: prohashing 0.23289587 LTC / litecoinpool 0.25630689 LTC
02/27: prohashing 0.23667927 LTC / litecoinpool 0.25666751 LTC
02/28: prohashing 0.23861311 LTC / litecoinpool 0.26142053 LTC
03/01: prohashing 0.19332182 LTC / litecoinpool 0.31452219 LTC (thank goodness back-up pool kicked in when prohashing server went down)
03/02: prohashing 0.26753816 LTC / litecoinpool 0.26008057 LTC (10% bonus at prohashing that is actually 3.88% bonus)

Considering litecoinpool has been paying out ~0.02 LTC/day more (except for yesterday's prohashing bonus), it doesn't make sense for me to keep mining here.

I think what really is significant is that if I had all 10 Antminers at litecoinpool these past 5 days, except for yesterday the payout is ~0.04 LTC/day more there than here. At today's LTC price, that's $8.56 more per day - $256.80 more per month.

I had read that prohashing was more profitable than litecoinpool, that's why I started mining here, but my earnings results say differently. I'm wondering if prohashing can adjust their payout to be at least comparable to litecoinpool so more miners will stay here and make this a place to be mining?

Ouch Mamu4845 Your findings are significant, it will be interesting see what response you will get. But this is not news, i have brought this up before,
i guess you will have to consider the extra cost of mining here as an extra fee for being able to use PH's kinda unique payout system. Still, making 250 usd less a month is to significant..

The next step I'm going to take is to try mining with a different type of miner and seeing what I earn. I'm narrowing into the idea that L3+'s are perhaps more sensitive to work restarts - and in that case, we can adjust the number of work restarts sent to miners with L3s.

If restarts are reducing profitability, then he should see an increase if he set g=off, as that should reduce the number of restarts issued to the L3+ units, no?

I'm interested in this, I moved my miners here a few days ago after trying litecoinpool for a few days and then moving 2 of my 4 L3+ to my office but because of blocked ports on the network had to find a 80 or 443 supported pool.

With my 4 miners running at about 2.3Ghs on litecoinpool I was getting 0.22/3 a day, over 4 days here with the lots of site down time it looks like I manage to get 0.49 my back up kicked in to antpool and litecoinpool so very unsure what I would have made on full 24hrs hashing.

I have managed to get my L3+'s through an ssh tunnel so gone back to litecoinpool for the constant payouts after the issues here (probably bad timing to join) I did like that I actually found blocks even if they were only worth a few $$

If something was done to help the L3+ I would move 2 back to compare.
