Forum rules
The Development forum is for discussion of development releases of Prohashing and for feedback on the site, requests for features, etc.

While we can't promise we will be able to implement every feature request, we will give them each due consideration and do our best with the resources and staffing we have available.

A quick status update for this morning, since I don't want to waste too much valuable weekend time writing a long status report:
  • Thanks to the people who are figuring out problems with bfgminer. The system has gotten so complex that it is extremely difficult at this point for a human to understand in real time why it is assigning miners to certain coins, since there are so many factors involved now. The feedback from these customers has been extremely valuable.
  • A release was made earlier this morning to resolve some issues with the mining server, and it seems to have worked.
  • The Comkort exchange is already released in the mining server. It is waiting on Chris to enter data in the database and to install its coins. Adding more coins and more exchanges means increased profitability.
  • It turns out that merge-mining multiple coins does make economic sense. Amazingly, there are some coins that are actually more profitable than dogecoins to merge mine now. Most users, however, are likely to have more than 50% of the merge mined shares be stale, because it won't be worth their work restart losses to send them new blocks when these low-profitability coins find new blocks. I also wonder whether we will destroy the networks of these coins once we start selling them.
