- We are going to try again tomorrow night to release this significantly revamped code. However, it is possible that we could go tonight if these issues turn out to be easy to solve.
- This new code also fixes some disconnect issues that some miners were having, in addition to the million other fixes that are present.
- In other news, Bleutrade went down last night, causing profitability to decline and payouts in some coins to halt. Chris is investigating the problem and we hope that Bleutrade reappears soon.

We got it. After weeks of performance fixes, we were finally able to get the 500-miner test to function normally. There are a few minor issues caused by the changes that I'm fixing now.

I forgot to mention this in the morning, but I thought it might interest people to know that after all that tax work, we determined that:
- The site made $26,000 in revenue from September to December.
- The net loss was around $3,400 last year.

I didn't know it was possible to lose more than $3400 by buying mining equipment.
But fortunately, everything you get from now on is profit. In our case, there are still costs due to Verizon every month, so if we didn't get any bigger, you would be better off.

Yeah, I also picked up a bunch of kit from hashra earlier... pretty embarrassing, really. Easy come, easy go.

Oh, Hashra. I'm lucky I got anything at all from their track record. What did you buy?kires wrote:Yeah, I also picked up a bunch of kit from hashra earlier... pretty embarrassing, really. Easy come, easy go.

I got a bunch of their gridseeds. At one point, I had about 8000 watts of them running in a bedroom I'd converted to a datacenter. For a while I was making about as much from them as my regular day job, but then the inevitable happened, and difficulty rose as value dropped, and I ended up selling them all on ebay. Like most things, obvious in retrospect.
