Major release this weekend

On Saturday, November 25, there will be a major software release that will affect almost all areas of the system, now that the hardware is available. The release will convert all remaining communication with the mining server to use WAMP, so that all data can be received in parallel by all mining servers, when parallel servers are released.

The mining server, block explorers, and some other services will be offline for 30 minutes, and then there may be a period when we have to fix bugs, if any are found. Usually, bugs occur because we forget to release a file or make a database change that had already been tested in the development environment. Since this is a major architectural change, it could take longer than 30 minutes to confirm that everything is working fine.
