Even though im not solo, i manage to share this a hour ago to the pool.. almost 1,800 USD and I only earned 0.87 cent in USD??!!???

Well also note, the dogecoin was lost, so no credit for that either way.
And until all the Immatures actually realize as matured, none would pay out at all.


The litecoin was the major find, and had you been doing that solo, you might find that block once every 6 to 12 months.
Had you been solo mining, your payout for the day would likely have been like 50 cents.

Yep, that's why they are called shares.
Bitmain have gone and done to Script and X11 mining what they did to SHA256 mining a couple of years ago. They will have "domestic reasons" for doing so. I gave up on getting an L3+ when I missed out on the August Batch and I gave the D3 a very wide berth as I predicted the X11 rewards would fall by more than a factor of 10. I 'm surprised how quickly it went from 1.2c to 0.025c.

If you use the link below you can find the probability of finding a block solo mining which is why pay per share is relatively fair. Considering you could go a month or so till you find a block solo is why pay per share is somewhat superior. I could technically make more on Nicehash but after transfer fee from Nicehash wallet to Coinbase and *volatility being paid per share in bitcoin.* I'd rather play it safe getting paid in litecoin on prohashing. I'll openly concede leading up to the recent fork run ups I mined there as at that time was more stable server wise. Yet, the annoying part was needing to hit a certain threshold to minimize transfer fee percentage (as it's flat fee) so I couldn't gamble on the mayhem trading coins.

I'm not sure what you find unfair?

You found a block while mining in a pool, that block, just like everyone elses blocks they find in the pool, get shared among everyone else. This is why you are paid constantly, rather then only when you find a block.

The fact that YOU are the one that found it does not matter, as you are in a pool. The idea that it is unfair is like the idea that if you were mining for actual gold in a mountain, you were part of a team, and you found a huge chunk of gold worth $1800, and you think it should be yours, because you found it, even though you are part of a team, and you don't own said team, and your contract states you get a cut of all gold found, not "you get whatever gold you, yourself, finds"

Its just that 1 day out of 3 months you say SWEET, I found a block today and felt like I contributed.
But trust us, when you find NADA the next 3 months you will NOT be complaining that the pool works the way it does.
