Re: For those with Titans
I think what is occurring in this situation is that the miner gets stuck in a state of perpetual work restarts and never submits a share, causing it to disconnect. This is a pool issue that we will be correcting in our next release.garrik wrote:Now my Titan disconnect many times, connect and then after 10-15 minits disconect from your pool. Thats problem ?
Occasionally the markets are in a state where the top coins are very easy and have nearly the same profitability, causing the pool to frequently find blocks and switch between the top coins. With a miner like a Titan that is slow to refresh with new work, you can get stuck in a situation where the time for the miner to refresh with new work is greater than the rate at which the pool is switching between coins and issuing work restarts. With the miner having submitted no shares for a period of time, the pool disconnects the miner. Later, when the markets change and the most profitable coin is clearly above the second best, the pool switches coins less frequently, allowing the miner to submit shares and remain connected normally.
In our next update, we will avoid this issue by making sure that miners with these long work refresh times are never assigned coins that have work restarts too frequently.

looking forward to it
