Recommended Difficulty?

Post by loszhor » Fri Mar 27, 2015 9:21 am

Good day,

I have been enjoying the service so far and decided to point more resources at it and I wish to know what would be the most efficient difficulty to set a 100 mh/s miner for this particular pool? At the moment, I have it set for d=16384 c=litecoin but I do get frequent disconnects and I do not believe I am getting as many shares as I should be. Also, I can't seem to mine 42coin directly at the moment which is why I am currently mining Litecoin instead.

Thank you.

For whatever it's worth, I'd recommend using a lower difficulty. Mining LTC with a 350mh/s asic seems to be most efficient with a difficulty of half that. Also, adding #skipbcheck to the url might do you some good. In another thread on this board, rootdude suggested the following for Titans, which run at about 300-350 mh/s:

- Use stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333/#skipcbcheck and d=8192
