Pool Down - only 1/2 miners detected

Post by Poolpuppy » Mon Oct 16, 2017 4:49 pm

Hi there,

Something went wrong with the pool and my miners got kicked offline. Only one miner has been detected.

Please can you help?

We still aren't sure what the issue is, but Chris continues to investigate. He has no ETA as to when the issue will be resolved, but we'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

MY Baikal reports prohash pool as dead at this moment. Been like this since I configured today. Box runs fine over on zpool. Switching back and forth to investigate.

There's no need to investigate. There's some sort of connection limit that we haven't been able to determine yet. Chris is still working on the issue.

There won't be any share corrections because no mining time is being wasted. If you set a backup pool, the miners will failover to that pool when they encounter connectivity issues.

Dudes!
I had a=x11,p=0.14,w=450
I had commas in the password parameter box. I replaced them with spaces!
I had c=Dash a=x11 p=0.14 w=450
I then also added c=Dash.

And prohash took off mining!

Your software looks great! The graphs and info are the most visually wonderful! This is sweet.
I might remove the c=Dash parameter.

Thanks!

No. Bonuses are paid when miners are connected and waste money by not receiving any payment. In this case, miners were not able to connect, and the documentation states that customers should configure a backup pool in this circumstance.
