Re: Loads of confusion
my apologies but I am given to understand that "NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 can generate more than 16.89 USD monthly income with a 39.24 H/s hashrate on the BTG - ZHash (EWBF) algorithm." is this algorithm available here? if not, why? and can you point me in the right direction then? i believe ...

Re: RandomX vs Ghostrider
No problem! If you're not already, definitely apply for the Trusted Miner Program too. You get extra mining rewards for having properly configured/well behaving miners and right now GhostRider is set at 10.8% which is insanely high. As in, 6.81% greater than the fee taken for FPPS mining insane.

Re: RandomX vs Ghostrider
GhostRider is what you could call a more "difficult" algorithm, meaning that it takes more processing cycles to produce one hash when compared to another algorithm like RandomX. It also cycles through several sub-algorithm variants which cause the local hashrate to vary quite a bit and thu...

Re: Considering removal of "a=" password argument
Same here. I have never used the proxy server; I just use the algorithm-specific ports. I should also amend my statement about using the "a=" argument as it appears the bat files I have to run equihash-144_5, KAWPOW, and Ethash-LowMemory use it but also while using their respective algorit...

Re: Considering removal of "a=" password argument
I don't use the "a=" argument so my miners would not be affected by this change.

Welcome to Prohashing Miguel! Do you play any instruments? I'm a bass guitar man myself.

Re: Check out the new website!
Looks good on Firefox! I don't know if this because this is a preview and not the full finished product yet, but I was unable to change the mining algorithm or month tab in the chart section. It was stuck on Scrypt. Everything else on the page seemed to work fine though.

Re: Possible uses for older GPUs
I would love to see either mining software or some kind of proxy program that could use multiple GPUs on a single share job, similar to SLI or Crossfire but for hashing power. That way you could have a system that gets a few MH/s instead of several barely choking out 0.8MH/s. Such a program would be...

Re: config file
Assuming you downloaded the CUDA plugin for XMRig and added the dll files to the same folder as the xmrig.exe executable, all you have to change in the config file is changing "enabled" from false to true and it will handle the rest. Don't expect amazing hashrates though. RandomX was speci...

Re: Merge Mining
Possible on Prohashing? What algorithms/pairs? I'm GPU mining, using Gminer, but would try another miner if I could squeeze out a bit more productivity... Scrypt and SHA-256 merge mine, neither of which can be GPU mined unfortunately. There has been some discussion about possibly adding ETH+ALPH du...
