Re: Merge Mined Coins in PPLNS/Solo
Update: I believe that I found the answer. If your static mining a coin (e.g. Litecoin) and you find a Litecoin block, then your reward will be paid in Full (minus the fee) and in the coin mined (this case Litecoin). Now for the merge mined coin, there are 2 scenerios; 1. You DO NOT find a merge min...

Re: Merge Mined Coins in PPLNS/Solo
That is true for FPPS and PPLS modes.. But I am pretty sure that is not true for SOLO mode. In solo mode you get paid in whatever coin you are mining regardless of your payout settings. The only thing I am not sure about is the merge mined coins. If I am static mining Litecoin in solo mode and find ...

Re: Callisto Block Reward
Thank you kindly for the explanation.
I did find a detailed spreadsheet of the block reductions and dates.
Back in January, the block reward was reduced to 22.74 CLO.

Callisto Block Reward
Question: Why is the block reward for Callisto here at Prohashing.com only 22.74 CLO for the miners? The current reward for the miners is 38.88. -------------------------------------------------------- The current CLO block reward is 77,76 CLO, which is then spread: 50% or 38.88 CLO to the miners. 4...

Re: Ethash Low Memory connection issues
I too am experiencing this issue. I seem to only get the problem consistently on my test machine, which only has a single 4GB card in it. It was working fine for days/weeks, then suddenly I started having connection problems for the GPU mining ETHASH Low Memory coins. I tried multiple applications (...

Re: Memory upgrade failed
Steve, curious..... Is the mining server just some type of suped up PC motherboard running 'NON-ECC' RAM or is this a true server type motherboard running standard server 'ECC' RAM. If possible could you put up the specs or better yet a screenshot of the sticker on the RAM that is currently installed.

Re: Downtime this afternoon to install memory
Well..... unfortunately, it's probably just a band aid for now. It will now take 4 times longer for the memory leak to eat up the RAM. The real solution will be to figure out what is causing the memory leak and then how to fix it. If they are lucky it will just be a coding problem on their side and ...

Re: Kawpow
Well..... Looks like according to the recent poll that 'most' of the people that responded did NOT want chia mining implemented. so, maybe (please, please) you could work on implementing KawPow instead? Steve, appreciate that you take the time to respond and that your responses are so candid. Keep u...

Probably Monero/RandomX for the CPU and ETHash-lowmemory for the GPU.

Re: Any ccminer neoscrypt miners out there?
Well....It should look something like the following; ccminer-x64.exe -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3338 -u YourProhashUsedID.{YourRigName} -p a=neoscrypt,n=[YourRigName} pause So, if your name was your prohashing login and you had a rig/worker named 'TestRig'. The following would mine...
