If I am mining a coin using c=coinname and in PPS mode and find a block, do I get a block reward? As opposed to using m=solo and finding a block?

OK, I was just using the Cann coin as an example since it has a 4 letter ticker as opposed to 3. So it's the full coin name + "coin" regardless? And what about using the numbering sequence (1,2,3) for multiple arguments? Not necessary?
